Parent and Child Programme

Course Overview

In conjunction with Edu Kiwi, Turning Point Education is pleased to be able to offer a Parent and Child Package. This is for those parents who would like to come and study English in New Zealand with Turning Point Education while their child studies at a local primary school, pre-school or Secondary School arranged by Edu Kiwi.

Edu Kiwi is very experienced in arranging school placements that meets children’s needs and give them a wonderful experience studying in Christchurch. Along with Turning Point Education, Edu Kiwi also supports parents throughout their stay. The minimum length of stay is 4 weeks. This is because a child needs at least 1 - 2 weeks to settle into school, and they cannot gain very much in a short stay. For more details about school placement please go to www.edukiwi.com.

Turning Point Education and Edu Kiwi’s package offers you:

• Homestay placement or help with finding accommodation.
• Turning Point Education placement test and orientation on first day for parent/s.
• Tuition for parent/s at Turning Point Education for the duration of the programme.
• Tuition for the child/children at local school for the duration of the programme.
• Transfers from Christchurch Airport to accommodation and return.
• Free Internet and email facilities at Turning Point Education.
• Opportunity to socialise with other parents at Turning Point Education’s free morning tea.
• Certificate at the end of the language course.
• Daily support for parents and children.

Not included in the cost:

• Insurance.
• Flights.
• Course books.
• Visa fees if applicable.
